IMAX CORPORATION ANNOUNCES VOLUNTARY DELISTING
FROM TORONTO STOCK EXCHANGE
NEW YORK January 12, 2015 IMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX; TSX:IMX) today announced that it has applied for a voluntary delisting of its common stock from the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) in Canada. Effective at the close of markets on January 19, 2015, the Companys shares will no longer be traded on the TSX but will continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol IMAX. Canadian shareholders will be able to continue to trade their shares on the NYSE.
The Company believes that the relatively low trading volume of its shares on the TSX over a sustained period no longer justifies the financial and administrative costs associated with maintaining a dual listing.
The Toronto Stock Exchange has neither approved nor disapproved the information contained herein.
